Six Articles of Faith

Muslim doctrine is summarized in "Six Articles of Faith."

According to this list, to be a Muslim one must believe in:

1. Only Allah;
2. The angels of Allah;
3. The books of Allah, Qur'an-e-Majeed;
4. The prophets of Allah, Hazrat Mohammad Salallah-o-Alaeh-e-Wasallam;
5. The Day of Judgment (or the afterlife); and
6. The supremacy of Allah's will (or predestination).
